Eric received his bachelor’s degree in political science at DePaul University, where he was a member of the ROTC program. Upon graduation, Eric was commissioned as an officer in the United States Army and served in Kansas, Kuwait, and the Republic of Korea. After leaving active duty, Eric attended law school at the University of Illinois and worked at the campus student veteran service office. He began his legal career as an attorney with the Internal Revenue Service, where he represented the government in litigation and provided legal oversight to civil and criminal tax examinations. After spending four years in the public sector, Eric joined Glover Luck in order to advocate for other veterans.
As a veteran, Eric understands the demands of military service and the challenges of navigating service-connected disability claims through firsthand experience. With his military and civil service backgrounds, he has a keen understanding of the unique needs veterans face and legal practice before the Department of Veterans Affairs.
Eric is admitted to practice in the state of Illinois. He is a member of the National Organization of Veterans’ Advocates and the Chicago Bar Association.
